New Peugeot 5008 7 Seater MPV

The new Peugeot 5008 is now available to purchase in the UK.  This new MPV is quite similar to the Citreon C4 or Vauxhall Zafira.  It is a higher priced 7 Seater at £22.495.  The top speed is 121mpg and it can reach 62 miles per hour in 10 seconds.  The combined fuel economy is only 37.7 miles per gallon but the Car Tax is only Band F.  Band F is currently only £125 a year.  For more details on 7 Seater Car Tax click here.

“The seven-seat 5008 (prices from £16,895 to £23,695) is closely related to Peugeot’s five-seat 3008 but it is significantly bigger and also better looking. And thanks to the brilliant packaging of the whole vehicle, even adults who are not double-jointed circus acrobats can get into the third row of seats without chiropractic help to get them out again.

Its clever packaging, though, could cause some problems because the car’s upmarket, aesthetically bright interior has a myriad boxes and cubby holes in which to tuck away mobile phones, glasses, a favourite paperback or a spare set of false teeth.

For its type it rides and handles well and does not feel clumsy when manoeuvring in tight spaces. It is highly aerodynamic and cruises quietly.”
