Peugeot 4007 – 4WD 7 Seats
Based on the Citroen C-Crosser and the Mitsubishi Outlander, the Peugeot 4007 is a solid ‘soft-roader’ that looks and plays the part. Unlike many other vehicles in this segment of the market, Peugeot only offers one engine option on the 4007, but it’s a very respectable 2.2-litre turbo-diesel that is quick-off-the-mark and capable of cruising at high speed; it generates a very adequate 154 break horsepower too. For a car of its size, the Peugeot 4007 is certainly flexible, and it offers good fuel efficiency – you’ll only spend about £16 for every 100 miles of motoring.

Peugeot 4007 – Purchase Price
The 4007 is only available second hand but you can get some pretty new models for around £25,000. Older versions of the 4007 can cost as little as £8,000. .

Peugeot 4007 – Third Row Seats
Space-wise this vehicle is a bit hit-and-miss. Certainly, the third row of seats is fine for children, but putting adults all the way at the back is not ideal as the knee room is lacking. However, with this row folded into the floor, it creates a huge amount of cargo space in the back, and the level of comfort for passengers in the first and second rows is excellent. Up at the front, the dashboard is elegant and clearly laid out, and the driving position is high and gives great visibility. .

Peugeot 4007 – Additional Extras
The entry level Peugeot 4007 offers a good grade of standard features. Alloy wheels come at the base price, as do front and back electric windows, MP-3 compatible stereo systems with CD players and cruise and climate control. Motorists would expect this, however, given this is not a cheap crossover, but in terms of quality offered, it most definitely fits the bill. .
